Margot Hiller

I've spent over 15 years editing things that matter to people: business proposals, dissertations, passion projects, personal essays. My clients tend to be professionals and writers who know what they want to say, they just need someone with the precision and taste to help them say it.

I trained as a creative writer at the University of Arizona, taught Upper School English and Creative Writing for five years, then built my editing business entirely through referrals. I don't advertise and haven't needed to.

Now based in Boston, I'm applying that same editorial instinct to interiors — working as a stylist for photographers and creative teams. The skill set is the same: identify what's essential, remove what isn't, let the subject speak.

"She has an exceptional ability to structure thoughts and piece everything together — her approach is almost magical."
